Bangkok, Thailand, January 25, 2012 – A FIVB Volley All Festival which was set to take place in Thailand at the end of last year but was called off due to heavy flooding was finally held on January 15 with over 2,000 children taking part.
The heavy rain and flooding which affected Thailand since July 2011 meant that the event, originally slated for November, had to be called off.
However, the Festival eventually went ahead in January under the leadership of Thailand Volleyball Association president Somporn Chaibangyang at the Royal Park of King Rama 9 in Bangkok.
Thousands of boys and girls turned out for the successful event, and they were joined by some of the country's top volleyball and beach volleyball players.
