Bangkok, Thailand, July 30, 2010 - A FIVB referees seminar was successfully completed in Bangkok Thailand on Wednesday as officials from across Asia took part in the event at the FIVB Development Center.
The four-day course was directed by Mr. Habib, Chairman of AVC Referees' Committee alongside Mr. Shimoyama, a member of the FIVB Refereeing Commission and the pair were assisted by Mr. Songsak, a member of AVC Referees' Committee.
The latest version of the Rules of the Game, Refereeing Guidelines & Instructions were some of the issues discussed at the seminar with special emphasis focused on recent modifications to net faults, substitution procedures, replacement and exchange of liberos and the responsibilities of referees.
A total of 35 people from nine countries took part in the seminar and practical demonstrations were arranged thanks to two top Thai men’s and women’s teams being made available. |
