Tiruchendur (Tamilnadu), India, June 8, 2010 - Padmashri Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan Sports Centre of Excellence (SASCE) was inaugurated on June 7th, 2010 in Tiruchendur (Tamilnadu), India. The sports centre of excellence was inaugurated by Padmashri Dr.B.Sivanthi Adityan, Chairman, Aditanar Educational Institutions.

The Cenre will be utilized for Indian Men's Volleyball  Team Coaching Camp starting from 7th June 2010 towards preparation of the team for Asian Games to be held at Guangzhou, China during November 2010.

The centre is equiped with training and competition facilities for the state and national sports disciplines. The indoor hall is of international standards with Teraflex and wooden flooring and other amenities including an art gym, players room with lockers etc.

The newly built modern guest house for players and other executives is fully air conditioned with the following amenities:

•Rooms for Chief coach, Asst.coaches, national coach/observer & executives

•Dining hall with modern kitchen

•Doctor’s/Physio room
