Iloilo city, Philippines, May 19, 2010 – A FIVB Volleyball Cooperation Programme coaches level I course was officially opened at Iloilo National High School in Iloilo City, Philippines on Monday with an opening ceremony.

Philippines Volleyball Federation President, Pedro Mendoza Jr., Education supervisor and officer in charge of Iloilo National High School , Dr.Nordy Siason Jr., FIVB Course Director, Mr. Zohair Ammar from Egypt and Course coordinators , Mr. Garry Jamili and Mr. Harry Fundal were all in attendance at the official launch

The course will take place from May 17-26 with 36 coaches from Afghanistan and Philippines participating.

The VCP coach courses target those who have been recommended by their national federation and have some experience as players, coaches and/or teachers.
