Tehran, Iran, February 10, 2010 -- An glorifying ceremony for 81 years old Mr. Ebrahim Nemati, former Secretary General of Iran Volleyball Federation, took place in volleyball house of Tehran on February 10. This marvelous courtesy assemble has been conducted by the volleyball federation and veteran's committee. More than 100 veteran volleyball players were present in the hall for putting value to the long term precious services of one the devotee of sport..

At the ceremony, a short film about life and actives of Mr. Nemati, who has retired, by his own words was shown. He holds Master degree from Tehran University in Physical Education and has served for 60 years generally in sport and especially for volleyball. He is the first international Referee, first international coach and first international Refereeing instructor of Volleyball in Iran. For many years he had taught various subjects of sport in different universities, colleges and high schools.

He has worked many years in instructing, refereeing and managing positions in Iran and outside of Iran. For 18 years he was secretary General of Volleyball Federation. Also, He has translated and compiled many books and textbook for volleyball and other sports. During the ceremony.

Mr. Davarzani, President of volleyball federation, remarked, it is honor of sport society and our country that at this moment is valuing the work and experience of a man who has done 60 years of work with love to the sport. I myself, 28 years ago have got my coaching certificate in life saving from Mr. Nemati. Now I put high importance to his works. He has done a lot for various disciplines of sport, but volleyball family and volleyball federation in our own share are paying our curtsy and appreciating to this gentleman.

At the end of gathering Mr. Nemati thanked and remarked, I am glad that all of you as my friends and colleagues prepared this fantastic ceremony. I have done nothing, but what I have done was my duty and responsibility. I was lover of sport and did my best to train the young generation and draw them towards the sport.
