Tehran, Iran£¬January 23, 2009 – Iran Volleyball Federation is actively developing and organizing Mini Volleyball Championship every year so as to develop volleyball among the young generation, which draws huge interest among the young people.

In 2008£¬young volleyball players comprising 130 teams with 306 players took part in the mini volleyball competition and played versus each other for achieving high stands of the championship. The players were aged 11 to 16 years-old. Teams in each age group had been divided into two groups. The teams played on the base of Round Robin at the first phase, then in the elimination round in full four days. At the end teams aged 11 & 12 years were combined to each other and four matched took place.

Iran Volleyball federation is honoured and puts valuable value to Mini Volleyball Championship which is very useful for expanding volleyball among young generation.
