Iran's first female FIVB Instructor works on FIVB coaching course in Tehran

Lausanne, October 16, 2008 – Razieh Seifzadeh, the first woman FIVB Instructor in Iran, is currently working on her first FIVB coaches'course. Seifzadeh and FIVB Course Director Ibrahim Koshlow are instructing at the Level 1 International Coaching Course in Tehran that runs through October 11-23.

They are instructing 23 coaches (18 men, five women). It is Seifzadeh's first assignment after becoming an FIVB Instructor last year. Sponsored by the Iranian Volleyball Federation, the Level 1 International Coaching Course is the second coaches' course in Iran this year. The first ran through May 7-18. Iran has a long tradition of Volleyball within the country with a number of well-established programmes designed to aid the development of the sport.
