Kish Island, Iran- March 15, 2010—The host teams finished the top two at the second Asian Men's Beach Volleyball Circuit at Kish free zone sport and recruitment center here on Monday when Parviz Farrokhi/Agh Mohammad Salagh of Islamic Azad University team A defeated their compatriots Reza Naeini and Rahman Raoufi from Bank Keshavarzi in straight sets in the finals.
In final match for gold medal, Reza Naeini/Rahman Raoufi of Bank Keshavarzi easily gave up the match to powerful rival Parviz Farrokhi/Agh Mohammad Salagh who needed only 35 minutes to beat their opponents 21-15 and 21-14.
In the bronze medal match, teams from Indonesia and Kazakhstan team A put up a hard fighting. The young players of Indonesia tried their best, but they only got a set from hard working players of Kazakhstan, who were standing as two strong pillars in front of hard spikes of their rivals, and after 54 minutes Kazakhstan won the match 2-1( 21-17,21-23, 15-9).
Erteashat Sanati of Iran defeated Islamic Azad University team B 2-1(18-21, 21-14, 15-11) to place the fifth while Thailand beat Kazakhstan team B.2-0(21-18, 21-16) to finish the seventh.
