AVC Development and Marketing Committee(DMC) meeting was held in Beijing of China on December 14, 2004. The meeting received a report on the decision of 2004 FIVB B/A and Congress, and made a number proposals to AVC B/A for consideration after detailed discussion.

According to the report, Park Volley must be promoted in National Federations in Asia and AVC should recommend NFs to promote park volley in their country. The Philippines Volleyball Federation was given the best Park Volley Organizer Award by FIVB President Dr. Ruben Acosta.

The DMC meeting made some proposals to the AVC Board of Administration

AVC President Wei Jizhong in his remark at the AVC DMC meeting stressed NFs who want some assistance from AVC must do their obligation. That means NFs must pay AVC and FIVB annual membership fee and organize domestic tournaments. AVC and NFs must keep the balance between obligations and rights.
